Review by Astrid: Let me admit that I started watching Reunited Worlds for Ahn Jae Hyun, as he is one of my favorite actors. Turned out Kwak Dong Yeon was in this drama as well - perfect! I didn't really look at the sypnosis nor did I look at the genres. I just wanted to watch it for those two.
Did I regret? Not even one bit! Now, this must've become one of my all-time favorite dramas ever. I was hooked every episode, perhaps even did some stupid things so I could just continue watching - you all probably recognize that, right?
Anyway, on to the review. Because I have quite a few things to say, and I'll be doing my best not to spoil any (important) parts.
The story: The story is all about three characters - Sung Hae Sung (played by Yeo Jin Goo), Jung Jung Woon (played by Lee Yun Hee) and Cha Min Joon (played by Ahn Jae Hyun). Why three? It's K-Drama, everyone. We need either a second male lead or a second female lead, don't we?
Jung Woon is the childhood love of Hae Sung, and helps him - along with other friends - to find out what or maybe even who caused his death, and why/how he got back. On the way to the truth, Hae Sung also meets other people, even one that is like him. Honestly, a lot just happens and if I would tell you one thing about it, it may ruin the whole thing. I recommend to just watch it. Why? Let me tell.
Character development: Does this drama have character development? Hell. Yeah. It definitely does! I think this is one of the series I enjoyed most when it comes to character development. Usually you just see characters changing for no reason, in a good way or a bad way - but in this series you are actually give the reason why these characters have changed in either a good way or a bad way.
It is definitely worth watching if you also love seeing character development!
Overall: The story is, in my opinion, pretty original. It may have done before, but I haven't encountered a drama like this just yet. The setting is amazing, once again the choice of actors/actresses is great and so is the character development!
Again, I did have a point that I disliked, and that was the ending. It wasn't really what I expected nor what I wanted after all these rollercoasters of emotions. It felt a bit, how do I say this, ''let's just finish this''-way. As if they wanted the ending to be finished fast. I wish they had put a little more effort into the ending of this drama!
