Matcha a combination of to things: love for desserts and rational food choices. A lovely place where you go to get your latte with a dessert. The place to go if you are a matcha lover.
When you go in you are welcomed by the lovely Japanese people who work there.
The place is very bright in pink and blue and it a very good place to take you instagram pictures. The whole aesthetic contrats with the matcha so the matcha is in the spotlight.
The assortment is quite big for a matcha place. They have products like purrin (japanese style pudding) , cookies, ice cream with matcha but also Japanese cheesecake and vanilla purrin for the people who are not fan of matcha. The products are made with a high quality matcha and you can taste it.
We had tasted the matcha eclair, Japanese style cheesecake and the anmintsu, a bowl of fresh fruit, tapioca pearls, anko beans and matcha ice cream with a freshing kinako matcha kuromitsu tonyu, a soy milk with matcha and Japanese caramel sauce. All the products were as tasty as on the pictures.
I would recommend the matcha bar to anyone who is a dessert lover and or is interested in matcha. If you don’t like the taste you also can get something else but I really would recommend to start with a matcha based dessert. If the matcha is mixed with something that you are familiar with the matcha flavor is not that strong, if you get a latte the matcha flavor can be to strong for you.
