[REVIEW] Thai Movie: Shutter

Name: Shutter
Thai Name: ชัตเตอร์ กดติดวิญญาณ
Duration: 97 Min.
Aired: September 9, 2004
Genre: Horror, Mystery, Thriller
Scaryness Level: 6/10

Sypnosis:
Jane and her boyfriend are involved in a hit and run when Jane hits a young woman with her car. Tun who is a photographer is starting to see a shadow figure on his photos. Jane is concerned that the shadow figure is the young woman from the accident, after some research she discovers that the girl was named Natre and has been a classmate of Tun.

Review By Nine:
Okay first of all I have set this scaryness level at 6 out of 10 because normally I watch horror movies that aren't really scary and this one honestly freaked me out. If you decide to watch this movie seriously do it during the day because I watched it like at 02:00AM, well let's say I didn't get much sleep.

The story is a bit boring at first but as soon as Jane goes to investigate things it gets really creepy. There are jumpscares in it and that is why it's so scary.

Overall:
I'm a photographer myself and I didn't touch my camera for at least a month after this movie. There is also an American version on Netflix which wasn't really scary for me because I have seen the thai version but the story is almost the same.

Rating out of 10: 7
