A top star, but very arrogant – that would be just the perfect way to describe Song Soo Jung. She has no interest in people who don’t have a lot of money. Then, on what seems to be the worst day of her life, Song Soo Jung goes back in time – to the Goguryeo era where she meets On Dal, a person who is only out for money. But who would know that On Dal does it all for the poor and the weak? How does Song Soo Jung handle the whole situation?
Review by Astrid:
My friend came over to my house and as we were browsing through Netflix, she said she wanted to watch My Only Love Song. We had watched 2 to 3 episodes before she left, and I think about a month or three later I finally had time to continue watching it myself.
To me, the start was a bit hard to get into. But the more I watched, the more hooked I was. This is a typical Comedy drama, but very much worth the watch!
The romance is obviously there, but they did work out a great storyline that didn’t only revolve around romance itself.
Overall: Great cast! Especially if you’re interested in bands like CNBlue and FT Island. Story was great and a lot of scenes were incredibly funny. The character development was incredibly satisfying! Wish the episodes were longer so they could’ve brought out more of the storyline itself.
